PARIS – Iran’s Amirhossein Alipour and Mahdi Olad won a gold and a silver medal respectively in the Men's Shot Put - F11 of the 2024 Paralympic Games on Monday.

Alipour finished in first place with a throw of 14.78 meters and Olad came second with 13.89 meters.

The bronze medal went to Spanish athlete Alvaro del Amo Cano with 13.38 meters.

Iran has sent 65 athletes in 10 sports to the Games.
