Iran’s Mokhtari wins bronze at 2024 Paralympic Games

PARIS – Alireza Mokhtari of Iran claimed a bronze medal in the Men's Shot Put - F53 of the 2024 Paralympic Games on Sunday.
He finished third with a throw of 8.69 meters.
Gold medal went to Georgian Giga Ochkhikidze with 9.66 meters and Moroccan Abdelillah Gani seized the bronze with 9.22 meters.
Athletics at the 2024 Summer Paralympics take place at Stade de France in Paris.
Iran has sent 65 athletes in 10 sports to the Games.
