3 int. fairs inaugurated in Tehran

altTEHRAN — Three international exhibitions were inaugurated on Tuesday at the Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds.

Industry, Mine and Trade Minister Mehdi Ghazanfari attended the inaugural ceremony of “The 5th International Bakery Exhibition (ibex 2011)”, “The 10th Iran International Confectionery fair”, and “The Third Drinks and Related Industries specialized exhibition,” IRNA news agency reported.

The 5th International Bakery Exhibition (ibex2011) hs been organized in order to improve the culture of consuming industrial bread and present a platform for investing in the bread industry.

Almost 143 companies, including 95 domestic companies and 48 foreign companies especially from the Netherlands, UK, Switzerland, Italy, and Canada, are participating in the ibex2011 (13th-16th September).

In the ibex 2011, flour producing companies, manufacturers of bread industry machineries and equipments, pastry-making and packaging machineries, enzymes and yeast providers, device and material producers, laboratory and measuring equipment and advisors are introducing their technologies.

Some 185 domestic companies and around 110 foreign companies, mainly from China, Turkey, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Britain, Switzerland, Spain, South Africa, the UAE, Argentina and France are participating in the 10th Iran International Confectionery fair, too.

According to the report, 102 domestic companies and foreign firms, from Germany, the USA, South Korea and Turkey, are also participating in the Third Drinks and Related Industries specialized exhibition.
