KISH – An international conference on investment opportunities in Iranian Free Trade Zones, Special Economic Zones and the tourism industry kicked off Thursday at Kish International Convention Center with Iranian Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Shamseddin Hosseini in attendance.

IRNA reported that the goal of the gathering is to create suitable grounds for domestic and foreign businesspersons and firms to invest in selected areas by presenting packages of lucrative opportunities and projects, and by relating successful business ventures to the participants.
In this conference some 700 investment packages and 300 special packages have been distributed among domestic and foreign investors from 40 countries.
