Iran, Austria uplift technological co-op
TEHRAN — Iranian and Austrian knowledge-based companies inked three documents on promoting technological cooperation, IRNA reported on Thursday.
In a joint business forum held in Austria with the Iranian vice president for science and technology Sorena Sattari in attendance, the two countries discussed ways to give a boost to cooperation in the technology sector.
During the event, Sattari underscored the importance of fostering technological cooperation between the two countries as a means to expand exports and academic exchange.
Sattari also met with Austrian Minister for Transport, Innovation Jorg Leichtfried during his stay in Vienna.
The Austrian minister welcomed bilateral and technological cooperation between Iran and Austria and lauded the improvements Iran has made in various technological fields.
He further stated that the two countries should develop cooperation on developing transport infrastructure.
