Anniversary of the Guardian Council formation honored
TEHRAN- The establishment of the Constitutional Council was marked on July 17. The council was formed on July 17, 1980. It consists of 12 members: six jurists and six law experts. The jurists are appointed by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the lawyers by the Parliament.
