PARIS - Rouhollah Rostami won the second consecutive Paralympic gold and broke the WR on the way with a 242kg lift at the 2024 Paralympic Games.

Chinese powerlifter Xiaofei Gu won the silver in the Men's up to 80kg with 225kg and bronze medal went to Iraqi athlete Rasool Mohsin with 215kg.

It was Iran’s fourth gold in the Games.

Shooter Sareh Javanmardi, shot putter Amirhossein Alipour and javelin thrower Saeid Afrouz had previously won three gold medals in Paris.
