Asian journalists visit security dogs training center near Beijing
BEIJING- A number of journalists from Asia paid a visit to a security and guard dogs training center near the China’s capital Beijing.
The center owned by China Shield Company provides security and guard dogs training for some breeds of dogs.
The center, which always provides opportunity for ordinary people for example for the children to get familiar with the process of training security guards, this time gave the chance to some foreign journalists to see such process.
During their visit, the journalists watched some wonderful performances by the dogs, and the dog trainers helped them experience playing with some of the dogs.
The dogs were well trained by seasoned handlers to help assist in security services. In this center all dogs receive a high level of obedience training, capable of biting or chasing suspects on command.
Most of the dogs were Belgian Shepherd, that is highly trainable and whose versatility and intelligence is the stuff of canine legend. This is a breed built for hard work, and plenty of it.
The journalists also had the chance to play with some cute puppies.
At the end of the visit, the trainers also answered the questions raised by the journalists in a question-answer session.
Guard and security dogs require specialized training to fulfill their role effectively. This includes teaching them to bark on command, stay vigilant, patrol designated areas, and respond appropriately to potential threats.
These dogs are incredibly versatile and have many different roles. They start from simple house pets to be a part of heavily-armed police forces.
The training process for security dogs is rigorous and can take anywhere a long time. This depends on the level of protection and complexity of the dog’s role. The most crucial element of the training is developing the bond between the handler and dog.
