Iranian official flays world's silence over massacre of Palestinian children
TEHRAN – The Vice President of Iran for Executive Affairs says that the international community’s silence in the face of the tragic killing of children in Gaza by the Israeli regime has undermined the credibility of these countries.
Mohsen Mansouri conveyed that Iran wholeheartedly supports the Palestinian cause during an international conference on Sunday.
He endorsed the Palestinian people's steadfastness against the Zionist regime's crimes over the course of three months.
Mansouri added that the Zionist regime has faltered in achieving its goals, with the resilience of the people in Gaza progressively increasing and leading them into true victory.
He underscored the significance of media warfare in today's Gaza conflict, emphasizing the need to bolster the dignified face of resistance in the media.
Mansouri suggested that, beyond leaders and speakers, artists should be the storytellers of Gaza's resistance, portraying it in the most beautiful way.
Mansouri highlighted massive demonstrations in Western countries’ capitals supporting the Palestinian cause, indicating the widespread aspiration of the Palestinian people. He stressed the need to strengthen the current justice movement, which thrives and spreads across generations and societies.
The Iranian official reminded that the axis of resistance includes not only Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Iraq, and Iran but also all countries joining forces to eradicate the evil force of the Zionist regime. He commended the increasing strength of the resistance axis, with the active diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran serving as an exemplary model.
Mansouri emphasized that the presence of Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi in various countries has created a unique opportunity for the axis of resistance by fostering consensus and discourse among Muslim nations.
He concluded by affirming that Iran stands along the Resistance movement, unequivocally supporting the Palestinian cause without any hesitation, fear, or doubt. Mansouri emphasized that today, Palestine remains the primary issue for the Islamic world, and creating unity of opinion and a discursive alliance among Muslims effectively promotes humanitarian principles.
He pointed out the silence of the Western countries in the face of what is happening in Gaza, highlighting the Palestinian death toll that has surpassed 25,000 on Sunday. The Vice President for Executive Affairs warned that if international communities remain silent where they should stand and beat the drums of war where they should pursue peace, they will face increasing discredit.
