Foes more fearful of Iranians’ resilience than military power: top judge
TEHRAN – Iran's judiciary chief on Wednesday emphasized that the resilience of the Iranian people instills more fear in adversaries than the nation's military prowess.
Mohseni Ejei disclosed that while enemies approach Iran's military strength with caution, recognizing the deterrent impact of its missiles, drones, and advanced weaponry, what genuinely intimidates them is Iran's demonstrated power as a resilient nation. He emphasized that military capabilities aren't exclusive to Iran, as adversaries also possess them.
Addressing a congress, the judiciary head delved into the enemy's deliberate efforts to sideline the Iranian people, acknowledging the lasting impact they have endured.
Against the persistent backdrop of economic challenges since the Islamic Revolution's inception, Mohseni Ejei underscored the perseverance of the Iranian people. Attributing Iran's steadfastness to the unwavering support of its citizens during economic hardships, the senior judge confronted the enemy's multifaceted assault on Iranians' religious values.
"From moral decay to financial corruption, sedition, negative propaganda, and harsh allegations, the enemy's tactics were laid bare," he stated.
Emphasizing collective responsibility, he urged all citizens to counteract the enemy's cultural invasion, expose their schemes, and take decisive action.
In a call for unity and steadfastness, the head of the judicial system underscored the paramount importance of cohesive leadership in overcoming crises and securing victories. He issued a stern warning against the enemy's divisive endeavors aimed at sowing discord among the people and undermining the bond between citizens and officials.
While acknowledging the formidable defensive capabilities of the armed forces, the judiciary chief stressed that the true strength lies in the broad and fervent involvement of the people, especially evident in religious and national events.
He also encouraged active participation in the upcoming parliamentary election, positioning it as a tangible manifestation of the people's importance, offering a robust response to the enemy's attempts to subvert the electoral process.
