Zionists have well felt the speed of their decline: army chief
TEHRAN- Pointing to Operation Al-Aqsa Strom, the chief commander of the Iranian Army, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, has said that the operation threatened the infamous entity of the Zionist regime, which has already felt the speed of its decline.
Speaking at the ceremony on Friday, Iran's army chief described Iran’s combat readiness, defense power, and intelligence surveillance in the “best possible conditions.”
He also pointed to the presence of the enemies in the region and their movements, saying Al-Aqsa Storm is a “blessed and good name” that has created a storm in the region and the world.
According to the top commander, the operation caused the existence of the evil Zionist regime to be seriously threatened.
“They (Zionists) themselves have felt the speed of their decline,” added the army chief.
Referring to the masters and accomplices of the child-killing regime, Major General Mousavi added that the U.S. president stood with the Zionist regime from the very beginning and echoed his support for this globally hated regime.
He emphasized that changes that have taken place in the region are the results of the Al-Aqsa Storm Operation.
The Army chief noted that the Zionist regime wants to downplay the consequences of its defeats. But the resistant and powerful people of Gaza have hit the roots of the Zionist regime.
Regarding the comings and goings in the region, he stated, “This is not the first time this has happened. During the last 44 years, we have seen it many times. The duty of our armed forces, including the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, is to monitor all threats, to have intelligence surveillance, and to be fully prepared to stand against threats to the national interests, ideals, values, and security of the country.”
In the end, General Mousavi stated that the armed forces are fully prepared to deal with any threat at any level, adding that the necessary scenarios and various possibilities have been examined, and the Iranian Army and armed forces are ready to fulfill their mission.
