Zionists suffered great defeat in world of politics: military spokesman
TEHRAN – The spokesman for Iran’s defense ministry stated on Saturday that the Israeli regime has incurred a political loss while suffering immense military and security blows during the Hamas October 7 operation in the occupied territories.
“The Zionist regime also suffered a defeat in the political field, and those who were attached to this regime have now retreated,” said Reza Talaei Nik.
The official pointed out how Israel could not find and target Hamas fighters in the besieged Gaza Strip, hence it’s resorted to massacring women and children to take revenge.
“Despite the fact that the Zionist regime has precise knowledge of the Gaza Strip, the resistance fighters defeated the defensive layers and security fortifications of the Zionists in a few hours with a combined operation,” Talaei Nik said, adding that Hamas remains victorious despite the heinous crimes committed by the regime.
“For 48 days, the Zionists used all their resources with the help of Europe and America, dropping more than twice the number of atomic bombs used in World War II on the people of Gaza, but Hamas did not falter”.
The spokesman noted how the public opinion around the world has now turned against Israel, despite the regime having spent billions of dollars to control the narrative. He stressed that tens of thousands of people with different backgrounds took to the streets around the world in recent weeks to voice their revulsion at the regime.
“A public-led campaign has been created to support Palestine and intense hatred against the Zionists in the world, which is unprecedented in the past 75 years,” he said.
Talaei Nik also criticized the U.S. and Europe for giving Israel carte blanche to do anything it wants in Gaza. He urged Western leaders to live up to their claims of human rights and stop their support for a regime that specializes in the killing of children.
