2-month car imports down 77% yr/yr

TEHRAN- The value of Iran’s car imports during the first two months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-May 21) fell 76.24 percent compared to the same period last year, Tasnim reported on Saturday citing the data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).
Iran imported 3011 passenger cars worth $78.995 million in the first two months of this calendar year, with 73.35 percent decrease in number compared to the first two months of the previous year.
Iran imported 11,297 passenger cars worth $332.534 million during the last year’s first two months.
