‘Pakistan Gate’ inaugurated at border crossing with Iran

TEHRAN –“Pakistan Gate” at Taftan border crossing with Iran has been inaugurated, IRNA reported on Friday.

This comes as a new step by Pakistan to facilitate trade and travel between the two neighboring countries.

The facility is equipped with CCTV cameras and has offices of the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) and Pakistan Customs and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). 

Pakistan Gate connects Pakistan’s Taftan to the border town of Mirjaveh in Iran.
