Annual shrimp output anticipated to be 40,000 tons
TEHRAN – Iran’s annual shrimp production is expected to be 40,000 tons in the current Iranian calendar year (ends on March 20, 2024) , according to the secretary of the Aquatics Production and Trade Union of Iran.

61,000 tons of shrimps farmed since last March
TEHRAN- As announced by an official with Iran’s Fisheries Organization (IFO), 61,000 tons of shrimps were farmed in the country during the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21, 2022).
