Iran, Russia discuss expansion of ties in car industry

TEHRAN – A group of manufacturers from Iran and Russia have discussed ways to strengthen exchanges in the spare parts and automotive manufacturing sectors in a meeting on the sidelines of the MIMS Automobility Moscow 2024, IRNA reported.

Given the amicable and friendly relations existing between Iranian and Japanese automakers, Japanese Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran Kazutoshi Aikawa said that if sanctions are removed, new opportunities will be created for cooperation between Iran and Japan in car industry.

Car industry evolution program to be unveiled soon

TEHRAN- Iranian Industry, Mining and Trade Minister Reza Fatemi Amin said that his ministry has a nine-axis program for evolution in the automotive industry which will be published soon.
