Thermal power plants’ 5-month output up 2.5% yr/yr

TEHRAN – Iran’s thermal power plants generated 129 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity in the first five months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-August 22), registering a 2.5-percent rise compared to the previous year’s same period.
