TEHRAN – The Iranian President extended congratulations to Turkish president and the citizens of Turkey on the 101st anniversary of the Republic's founding and Turkey's National Day through a formal message.

In his communication, Masoud Pezeshkian congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdo?an on this significant milestone and highlighted Iran's commitment to enhancing bilateral ties and fostering collaboration through multilateral frameworks.

Pezeshkian underscored the importance of maintaining strong, friendly relations between Iran and Turkey, especially in light of the current geopolitical climate and the provocations from the Zionist regime and its allies.

Iran’s president asserted that deepening dialogue, solidarity, and cooperation between the two nations is essential for promoting stability, security, and prosperity for both countries and the broader region.

Turkey's National Day, also known as Republic Day or Cumhuriyet Bayram? in Turkish, is celebrated annually on October 29. This day marks the anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey in 1923, which was a significant event in the country's history as it marked the end of the Ottoman Empire and the beginning of a new era of modern Turkey.
