TEHRAN- The head of the Joint Air Defense of Khatam al-Anbiya construction headquarters released a statement commemorating the anniversary of Air Defense Day.

As reported by Iranian Army's public relations, Major General Ghadir Rahimzadeh's message is as follows:

“In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate

August 30, designated as Air Defense Day, serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices, commitment, and valor of the courageous individuals who defended our nation's skies and successfully neutralized hundreds of enemy aircraft during the 1980s Imposed War. 

Their efforts were instrumental in maintaining the continuity of our country's economic activities and supporting the triumph of Iranian fighters in the struggle against falsehood during the Sacred Defense period.

Currently, the dedicated personnel of air defense are advancing their capabilities through innovative production and the integration of cutting-edge defense systems that align with contemporary technologies. 

With vigilance and alertness, they continuously monitor aerial activities in the region, remaining ever-prepared to safeguard the airspace of our cherished nation.

I pay tribute to the noble spirits of the martyrs and recognize the contributions of our esteemed air defense veterans. I extend my heartfelt congratulations on Air Defense Day to all my dedicated colleagues, including commanders and the committed personnel engaged in the defense of our nation's dignity and honor. 

I also pray for the continued success of all Iranian fighters and the devoted defenders of our heroic nation of Iran, with the blessings of Almighty God.”
