Pezeshkian has said that he is determined to pursue the policy of international interaction and improve relations with the West to end the sanctions. His goal is to strengthen relations with most governments around the world.

Sazandegi: Is Iran's economy reformable without lifting the sanctions?

In a commentary, Sazandegi discussed the effects of sanctions on Iran's economy and the challenges facing the 14th government and wrote: Masoud Pezeshkian did not make any promises during the election campaign, but emphasizing the lifting of sanctions and reducing inflation were promises that he insisted on many times. The promise of trying to lift the sanctions is important because less than a year is left until the expiration date of UN Security Council Resolution 2231. A resolution that was approved after the signing of the JCPOA, and based on it all 6 previous harsh resolutions against Iran were canceled. Undoubtedly, economic sanctions have been one of the key factors that have affected the performance of Iran's economy in recent years. Economists say that it is impossible to imagine the growth of the economy without removing the economic sanctions, and as Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized in the economic debates, we have no chance to grow despite the sanctions.

Donya-e-Eqtesad: The regional policy of the 14th government
