TEHRAN – In a Monday meeting, the commander of the Iranian Army's Ground Force emphasized the significant shift in the force's capabilities, moving away from traditional weapons to advanced armaments with high combat readiness and defensive capabilities. 

Brigadier General Kioumars Heidari made the remarks while talking to the military leaders of the major units of the Army’s ground forces. 

General Heidari highlighted that the ground force now possesses new and advanced armaments, enabling it to impose combat on the enemy in all missions. He emphasized the force's preparedness for future wars and threats, aiming to create a unit capable of withstanding any potential conflicts.

The commander revealed that the ground force has undergone fundamental changes in its structure, aligning with a defensive cycle characterized by long-range, point-strike, intelligent, and network-centric capabilities. “This strategic shift positions the ground force as a formidable and modernized military entity, “he noted. 

Furthermore, General Heidari underscored the weakening of the hegemony and sinister domination of Washington, the Zionist regime, and their allied countries in the region due to the power of the Islamic Republic of Iran. 

“In the minds of the rulers of regional countries and even some countries in the world, there is a belief that America is the godfather and owner of the world and that nothing happens without Washington’s permission. Operation True Promise proved the falsehood in that narrative” he said.
