Monthly aluminum ingot production up 7%
TEHRAN- Production of the aluminum ingot in Iran rose seven percent in the 10th Iranian calendar month (January 21– February 19) compared to the same period in the past year.
The country’s aluminum ingot output stood at 54,893 tons during the mentioned month, while the figure stood at 51,416 in the last year’s same month, according to the data released by the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
The data show that the country’s top producers managed to produce 582,200 tons of aluminum ingots in the first 10 months of the current year (March 21, 2023-February 19, 2024), which was 2,700 tons more than the figure for the previous year’s same period.
Also, during the 11 months of this year, 206,438 tons of alumina powder, 347,313 tons of aluminum hydrate, and 537,317 tons of bauxite were produced by Iran alumina companies.
