TEHRAN – On Friday, Iran’s Persistent Ebrahim Raisi arrived in the southern province of Khuzestan where he has visited several times since taking office in 2021.

The president was welcomed by a large group of locals as he entered the region to inaugurate several important and large production, industrial, and service projects.

One of these projects was the first fully Iranian-developed Sephar and Jofeir oil fields which are currently contributing over 50,000 barrels per day to Iran's oil production.

When talking to a crowd of people during a gathering in the city of Izeh, Raisi thanked citizens and warned authorities to steer away from corruption and pour all their efforts into serving the people of Iran who he said, deserve the best.

"I don't want to hear that unhealthy relationships have infiltrated the country's administrative system and replaced healthy relationships. Government bodies should be a symbol of efficiency and untying of people's problems, and lest I hear that, God forbid, bribery and corruption have infiltrated an administrative complex,” he said.

During his tenure as Iran’s judiciary chief, Raisi took major steps to bring corrupt government officials and their guilty family members to justice. He has been emphasizing the same values during his role as the president.
