IRGC commander extends condolences and congratulations on martyrdom of al-Arouri

TEHRAN- The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force, conveyed his condolences and congratulations to Ismail Haniyeh on the martyrdom of Saleh al-Arouri.

In a letter addressed to the chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau, General Ismail Qaani emphasized that the brothers of the late martyr al-Arouri would become a formidable challenge for the Zionist regime. 
    
Highlighting al-Arouri's significant role in the first intifada and the al-Aqsa intifada, General Qaani noted that the enemy's attempt to mitigate its defeat in Gaza and the West Bank involved targeting resistance commanders. 

Earlier on January 3, Ali Shamkhani, the political advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, praised Saleh al-Arouri as a dedicated mujahid. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi also expressed his deepest condolences on Wednesday following the assassination of Saleh al-Arouri, the deputy head of the Hamas politburo.

Saleh al-Arouri, the deputy chief of the Hamas political office, was killed in an Israeli drone strike in southern Beirut late on Tuesday.
