TEHRAN- In an interview with the Beirut-based Al-Mayadeen news channel on Sunday, Mohsen Rezaei, a member of the Expediency Council and former IRGC chief, called on the United States to cease its involvement in Gaza Strip.

Rezaei stated that if the U.S. stops being involved in Gaza, Israel will quickly withdraw, so the U.S. must do so.

He emphasized the potential consequences of Israeli war crimes, saying that if the blood of young Muslims boils, the Israeli ships, airplanes, and offices, which are scattered in the world, will not be secure.

He added that the issue of Palestine, which has turned into a humanitarian one, has called American and Western human rights into question.

He called for an immediate ceasefire and Israel's withdrawal from Gaza, expressing concerns about the possibility of the war spreading to other regions.

The former IRGC commander also suggested that if Israel continues its war crimes, new fronts may open against the regime in the coming weeks.

Pointing to the convergence among Islamic countries, he stated that ties between Islamic countries will be bolstered since America has been weakened in West Asia.

Rezaei further explained the motivations behind Western support for Israel, claiming that the occupying regime serves as a gateway for Western access to the East.

He argued that without Israel, this access would collapse, leading to increased unity among Islamic countries.

In the end, Rezaei stressed the importance of allowing the Palestinian people to determine their own fate through elections.
