After the Defeat, It’s Now Time for the PTSD
A new pole with participants from the soldiers who attended and fought during the Yom Kippur war revealed some disturbing data about the mental and physical situation of IOF soldiers. The title of the study reads: “out of every 3 Yom Kippur soldiers, 1 is reporting mental damage”.
The data also shows that over %38 of the soldiers is still suffering physical damage which means 1 out of every 5 who participated in the pole. The participants also complained about malfunctions in their martial relations, blaming the negative effect on the Yom Kippur war. One out of every participant reported a negative effect on their physical health because of the war. But the most dramatic part of the pole results, possibly, was the number of those affected who are officially recognized and supported by Israel’s ministry of Defense.
According to the results, only 25 percent of these soldiers are accepted into the supporting schemes of the ministry and of this number, only 6 percent are officially recognized as “psychologically damaged”. The Yom Kippur War or Ramadan War was was an armed conflict fought from October 6 to 25, 1973, between the Israeli Occupation Forces and a coalition of Arab states led by Egypt and Syria. Most of the combat between the two sides took place in the Sinai Peninsula and the Golan Heights, both of which were occupied by Israel in 1967, with some fighting in African Egypt.
Ansarullah Unveil Missiles, Israelis Confront the New Front
After the glorious military parade of Yemen’s Ansarullah this week, multiple Israeli outlets addressed the issue from their own perspective, with some of them daring to mention the elephant in the room. An Israeli media published an article about the parade, pointing out a specific type of missile which, as the media puts it, “can reach the Israel”.
According to the report, “Qader class missiles which are derivatives of the Iranian Shahab-3 missile with a range of 2000km were unveiled in Yemenis military parade this week. The Houthis are considered as the arms of Iran’s regime, so in theory, this is another direction from which, if Iran decides, hybrid missile attacks can be carried out against Israel”.
The media followed the recent path every other Israeli outlet and tried to drag Saudi Arabia into the threatened hemisphere. The “my problem is your problem” strategy which has been sharply in action by Israeli officials in regulating their direct/indirect relations with other actors of the region pooped up no later than the second paragraph of the horror article: “along with Israel, these missiles can also target the Saudi Arabia as well. Although Saudi Arabia and Iran have recently warmed up their relations with the intermediation of China, but the situation in relations between countries can change in one moment”.
The writer continues by quoting a recent finding by CSIS research center, wrapping up the article saying, “the threat of Houthis was raised by late 2021, overhung some southern territories of Israel [Occupied Palestine] during the 2022, and now pretty much includes the entire map, from south to north”. Meanwhile, to make Israeli’s day even better, several outlets published reports along with photos from the event of “unveiling the drone with longest range in the world” by Iran during the military parade held on the occasion of Iran’s victory over Iraq during the 8-year imposed war of 1980s. Marching side by side the new Iranian ballistic missiles, the “Mohajer-10” has a range of 2000km with the capability to stay airborne for 24 hours.
