TEHRAN – Iran’s Deputy Transport and Urban Development Minister Shahriyar Afandizadeh said his ministry is taking the necessary measures for the preparation and finalizing of the country’s comprehensive transportation plan by the end of the next Iranian calendar year 1402 (March 2024).

According to Afandizadeh, the completion of the mentioned plan, which was started a few years ago, has been seriously followed up by the Ministry of Transport and Urban Development, IRIB reported.

“We hope that the comprehensive transportation plan will be finalized and approved by the end of [the year] 1402 with a 12-year horizon,” the official said.
