Iran Army fires cruise missiles, torpedoes in war game

TEHRAN – Iran’s Navy on Saturday fired several homegrown cruise missiles and torpedoes from its vessels and submarines on the second day of war games in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, Fars reported.

Iranian naval forces on Friday started a massive three-day drill in an area of two million square kilometers, from the strategic Strait of Hormuz to the southeastern coasts of Makran, the Sea of Oman and the northern parts of the Indian Ocean.

On Saturday, Naqdi destroyer and Tabarzin missile-launching frigate fired two home-made Qader and Qadir cruise missiles at targets.
