Iranian general: Pakistan must explain how terrorists crossed the border

TEHRAN – Yahya Rahim Safavi, a top military adviser to the Leader, has said the Pakistani government and intelligence apparatuses should be held accountable for the latest terrorist attack in southeast Iran, emphasizing that the Iranian armed forces are entitled to crack down on the perpetrators of the assault, Mehr reported on Saturday.
Rahim Safavi said the perpetrators of the terrorist attack had been trained in Pakistan, and that the Pakistani government and its intelligence service (ISI) must respond to the Iranian nation and government that “how the terrorists crossed the border and why the neighboring country has become a safe haven for the terrorist groups.”
