TEHRAN – Iranian vocalist Mohammad Motamedi performed two open-air concerts in Tehran’s Ab-o-Atash Park on Wednesday and Thursday.

Thousands of Iranian music aficionados came together in the park located in northern Tehran hours before the concerts started, the Persian service of Honaronline reported on Friday.

Motamedi performed a collection of his hits with the Orchestra of National Instruments, which was conducted Ali-Akbar Qorbani.

The performances were the first part of a series of free outdoor concerts, which have been organized by some popular musicians to boost the spirits of Iranians during the current adverse economic conditions confronting the country.
