Iran ready to launch science parks in Syria

TEHRAN –The Iranian science minister has said his country is ready to establish science parks in Syria, the ministry’s public relations department reported on Sunday.

Mansour Gholami made the remarks during his meeting with Syrian Higher Education Minister Atef Naddaf in Syria on Monday.

By establishment of science parks, technology products of universities and academic centers are empowered, Gholami said.

“We feel deep respect for Syrians and we are ready to have any scientific and research cooperation, which leads to strengthening academic centers at the country,” he explained.

He expressed Iran’s readiness to help all neighboring countries and to share scientific researches and is eager to establish connection between universities of Iran and Syria.
