TEHRAN – Iranian lawmakers are preparing a bill based on the Leader’s demands on the nuclear deal, chairman of the Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Committee said on Monday.
“The period of making statements and announcements about BARJAM is over,” Alaeddin Boroujerdi said, using the Persian acronym for the 2015 nuclear agreement, officially known as the JCPOA, IRNA reported.
“Only if the Europeans take practical steps in accordance with the Leader’s statement, they can be trusted,” Boroujerdi said, adding that what they had said about preserving the deal is not enough.
