TEHRAN – Ex-presidential candidate Mostafa Hashemi Taba has said the issue of corruption has to be openly discussed in order to tackle it.

Especially the issue of economic rents should be opened up because at the time being nobody dares talk about it, he told Arman newspaper in an interview published on Sunday.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Hasehmi Taba said the upcoming government should be formed out of young members, stressing “70-year-olds” should be laid off.
