TEHRAN – Iranian deputy agriculture minister said the country aims to reach an annual caviar production capacity of 10 tons by the end of its Sixth Five-Year National Development Plan (2021), IRNA reported.

According to Hossein Salehi, over 1000 tons of sturgeon meat and 3 tons of caviar were produced in the country in the last Iranian calendar year (ended on March 20).
