TEHRAN – Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani issued a message on Saturday congratulating the parliament speakers on the new Christian year and birth anniversary of Jesus Christ.

“Teachings of the divine prophets promise peace, justice and salvation of the human society which is needed in the current world more than anytime else,” he wrote in the message.

Pointing to the principle of dialogue and interaction among the divine religions, he said Iran’s parliament is ready for any “joint cooperation” and “interaction”.
