TEHRAN – The commander of the Iranian Army on Tuesday said domestic technological know how in defense industry has “immunized” the country against all threats.

“Thanks to the domestic knowledge of defense, our armed forces are prepared to confront any threat in the region,” Ataollah Salehi said, ILNA reported.

“Depending on other countries for the procurement of defense equipment is like being a patient who is not aware of his illness,” Salehi said.

“Right now some regional countries have this disease but don’t know.”
