Seminar on Economic Security

TEHRAN A seminar will be jointly held by the Judiciary of Commerce on "Strategies of Economic Security Development" at the Center for International Seminars of IRIB on February 27-28.

A press conference was held at the Institute for Commercial Studies and Research of the ministry here yesterday. The seminar Secretary, Hamid Nazeman, the Head of the Judiciary Survey and Study Office, Ja'far Kousha, and Judge Alireza Jamshidi, the representative of the Training and Research Division, attended the conference.

"The current and future economic security situation and effective strategies for its development will be the main issues discussed during the seminar," Nazeman said, addressing the conference.

Also, Kousha told reporters that in order to devise an effective economic plan as well as to meet people's vital needs, officials should act in a way that all people could enjoy the legitimate ownership.

"The Judiciary must support people's personal and social rights, and their legitimate ownership, and treat the violators of these rights harshly", added Kousha.

In the meantime, Jamshidi addressed the conference, saying that to achieve economic security, the Judiciary is planning to amend some rules in this regard. Through amended rules, economic cases are expected to be judged more precisely and rapidly than before.

The seminar aims to identify effective elements of economic security and study suitable strategies for increasing national economic security and stability.

The seminar is being organized by the Programming and Information Dissemination Division of the Ministry of Commerce (Institute for Commercial Studies and Research) with the collaboration of the Judiciary Training and Research Division (Judicial Survey and Study Office).
