TEHRAN – Iran finished runners-up at the 2025 Asia Rugby Emirates Women’s Sevens Trophy.

Iran defeated South Korea (25-9), Uzbekistan (12-5), Lebanon (34-0) and Jordan (39-0) and secured their berth in the final.

In the title clash, Team Melli lost to Uzbekistan 17-7 and won their first-ever medal in Asia.

The competition was held in Muscat, Oman on Oct. 25-26.
