Lebanese media said a young man was killed late Sunday when an Israeli drone fired two missiles at a car on the road between Wadi al-Hujayr and Burj Qalawiya in Nabatieh’s Bint Jbeil district.

The Health Ministry reported five wounded in a separate strike on Kfar Dounine.

Local sources called the attacks fresh violations of the truce declared with Hezbollah last November, as UN monitors remained ineffective.

In a statement, the Israeli military claimed it killed a Hezbollah member in Nabatieh and cast its action as upholding “understandings,” a justification critics say masks a pattern of assassinations and cross-border raids that erode the ceasefire and endanger civilians.
