Hezbollah bombs Israeli military base
TEHRAN- Hezbollah has continued to strike military sites deep inside Israel as Tel Aviv directs its attacks against civilians in Lebanon.
The Lebanese resistance launched an attack on Wednesday with a squadron of attack drones on the Israeli Tirat Carmel base south of Haifa, “hitting the target with precision”.
According to the Israeli Broadcasting Authority a drone launched from Lebanon exploded in the industrial zone in Nahariya and struck a factory that produces components for drones.
In another operation Hezbollah said it targeted Krayot in northern Haifa with a salvo of missiles.
The Lebanese resistance also targeted gathering of “Israeli enemy soldiers” at the Shebaa Gate, Khallet al-Asafir in the town of al-Khiam, the Wati Al-Khiam (southeast of the town) twice, the Wazzani Spring, Khallet al-Asafir, Yaqousa, Amra (twice), Fatima Gate and other areas with rocket barrages.
The regions are all on the Lebanese border. The Israeli occupation forces have been trying to infiltrate the border over the past month.
Intense confrontations with Hezbollah fighters have halted the Israeli ground invasion of Lebanon.
Israeli warplanes continue to bombard residential areas inside Lebanon, killing many civilians and displacing over one million others. Israeli missiles landing in Lebanon have killed an average of two children per day over the past month, according to experts.
Meanwhile, footage emerged on Wednesday of injured Israeli soldiers being treated following the launch of a rocket from Lebanon toward the Metula settlement in the upper Galilee.
Israeli media published videos of military helicopters transferring the casualties to Rambam Hospital in the city of Haifa. Hebrew media also reported that Hezbollah does not need many missiles to bring a large number of residents into fortified areas.
Hezbollah has declared that “within the framework of the warning issued by the Islamic Resistance (Hezbollah) to a number of settlements in the north, the Islamic Resistance fighters bombed the following settlements with rocket salvos: Kiryat Shmona, Nahariya, Dalton, Ma'alot-Tarshiha, Kfar Vradim, Kabri, Meron, Rosh Pinna, Even Menachem.”
This week, Hezbollah issued evacuation orders for dozens of areas in northern Israel and the occupied Golan. Hezbollah warned the residents to “evacuate for your own safety” noting that “your military is using your settlements to launch attacks on Lebanon.”
Speaking to reporters, Hassan Fadlallah, a Hezbollah-linked legislator, said, “After a month of confrontations, the Israeli enemy has not been able to establish any foothold within Lebanese territory."
He emphasized, “The Israeli occupation's threats to kill or assassinate resistance leaders will not be effective; rather, they will reinforce our commitment to defend our country and uphold our legitimate rights."
The Labanese member of parliament highlighted that “Hezbollah is united as one courageous force, dedicated to defending the nation on all fronts. Its leadership, headed by Sheikh Naim Qassem, is solely responsible for managing all aspects of the war and making decisions.”
Fadlallah also underlined, “The resistance will not allow the Israeli enemy to impose its conditions on our country. The occupation has been trying for days to advance towards the town of Khiyam, where the resistance fighters are confronting it with strength and steadfastness.”
Experts say Hezbollah is thwarting all Israeli troops’ attempts to infiltrate Khiyam, and is directing its missiles from south of the Litani River towards the occupation forces behind the border.
