TEHRAN – One of Iran’s sitting volleyball team most decorated player Sadegh Bigdeli says that they are looking forward to win the eighth gold in the Paralympic Games.

Bigdeli, 40, is going to win his fourth gold in Paris. Iran’s men’s sitting volleyball team have won seven golds in the Games.

“Bosnia and Herzegovina are the most opponents but we are capable of defeating every opponents because Iran have very talented players,” he added.
Iran sitting volleyball team were supposed to compete in a tournament in the Netherlands in July but were denied visas.
“After cancelation of the Netherland’s tournament, we played several friendly matches with Kazakhstan in Iran and I think the friendlies helped the coaching staff to find out our own strengths and weaknesses,” Bigdeli stated.
