TEHRAN- The spokesperson of Iran's foreign ministry reacted to the number of casualty figures in Gaza.

Nasser Kanaani stated, “In light of the alarming inaction and ineffective responses from international forums and organizations, as well as the continued military support from the United States and its Western allies for the apartheid Zionist regime, the death toll in Gaza has tragically surpassed 40,000.

Approximately 15,000 of these casualties are children, with around 10,000 Palestinian martyrs still entombed beneath the rubble.

Will these devastating statistics need to escalate further before the global conscience stirs, prompting officials and leaders of nations and international bodies to take notice?

It is a profound shame for the seemingly civilized world and the international institutions tasked with upholding justice that a fraudulent regime continues to flout all principles, laws, and established international norms, perpetrating genocide against a historically significant nation most brutally, all while the world watches.

All governments, nations, and international organizations share responsibility for the current catastrophic situation in the Gaza Strip. If they fail to take action, they will be forever condemned and held accountable in the annals of history and by the awakened global conscience.”
