Bank loans to economic sectors rise over 20%

TEHRAN - The Iranian banking system has paid 16.57 quadrillion rials (about $33.14 billion) of facilities in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20 -July 21), registering a 20.6 percent rise from the figure in the same period of the previous year, the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) announced.
As IRNA reported, of the total facilities, 13.57 quadrillion rials (about $27.1 billion) equivalent to 78.3 percent, was paid to the business owners (real and legal), and 3.6 quadrillion rials (about $7.3 billion) equivalent to 21.7 percent, to the final consumers (households).
