TEHRAN – Iran’s women’s and men’s national teams qualified for the pool round of the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2024 on Thursday.

Women’s team beat South Korea 14-11 and Macau 16-5 in Qualifying Draw A.

They will meet Japan and Thailand on Saturday.

Also, men’s team defeated Chinese Taipei 21-10 and Hong Kong 20-10 in Qualifying Draw A.

Team Melli will face China and Singapore on Saturday.

There are a whopping 43 teams competing in Singapore. The Qualifying Draw is being held on March 27-28 before the main draw - featuring 12 men's and 12 women's teams - on the following three days.
