Oil, petroleum products transmission across Iran rises 4.5% in 9 months

TEHRAN – The transmission of crude oil and petroleum products across Iran has increased by 4.5 percent in the first nine of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-December 21, 2023) as compared to the same period last year, the acting head of the Iranian Oil Pipeline and Telecommunication Company (IOPTC) said.
Arsalan Rahimi said IOPTC has managed to transmit over 103 billion liters of crude oil and petroleum products across the country via pipelines over the mentioned nine months, IRNA reported on Thursday.
According to Rahimi, of the mentioned amount, 53.8 billion liters were crude oil and 49.2 billion liters were petroleum products.
