TEHRAN- A top Iranian general has announced the expansion of resistance culture not only in Lebanon and Syria but also in Venezuela.

Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, a senior military advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, has said that the culture of resistance has expanded from West Asia to South America.

Speaking at a conference on Tuesday, the Iranian military advisor stated, “Our Islamic revolution has vital differences with other great revolutions in the world in its leadership, presence of the people, and having a culture and ideology.”

During the Holy Defense period, the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, mobilized 2 million members of the Basij force to participate in the conflict, according to General Rahim Safavi.

“The ultimate goal is to educate the youth,” said the general, outlining a manifesto of “what to say and what not to say.”

According to General Rahim Safavi, war is a real scene so exaggerated and delusional things must not be uttered. Instead, realities should be highlighted, he added.

As per the general, victories of the Islamic Revolution and the Holy Defense have crossed the borders of Iran. These victories have turned into a culture of resistance.

“The resistance front has been shaped not only in Lebanon and Syria but also in Venezuela,” said the Iranian senior military advisor.

He also said that the Zionist regime could not continue for a single day in the war in Gaza without the support of the United States.
