President Raisi inaugurates several projects in Alborz Province
TEHRAN – Following a series of trips to various provinces, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi visited Alborz Province on Friday for the second time during his tenure to meet with provincial officials and follow up on under-way projects and the issues and problems of the mentioned province.
As IRNA reported, during the trip President Raisi, who was accompanied by some of his cabinet members and their deputies, was welcomed by the province’s people and officials and inaugurated several major projects.
A highway and a 260-bed hospital were among the most important projects that were put into operation during the visit of the president to Alborz province.
Speaking to people on Friday, President Raisi stated that “the provincial trips to different cities of the country are an indescribable blessing for me as the head of the government and a unique opportunity to get to know the issues, problems, capacities and capabilities of different regions.”
“Provincial visits for the 13th government are not just formal and the government's presence in different provinces is aimed to help solve the problems of those provinces,” Raisi said.
The president said the government has identified and prioritized the major development needs of the province during the meetings with local officials and experts and will closely monitor the progress of the approved projects in the province.
Raisi underlined the significant role of the local officials in the success of the approved projects in the province and noted that provincial officials and authorities should strongly pursue the fulfillment of their tasks and follow up on the completion of the projects in their affiliated areas.
