Quake hits western Iran

TEHRAN—Two fairly powerful earthquakes shook western Iran near its border with Iraq on Monday afternoon, Ana news agency reported.
According to the data published on Iranian Seismological Center (IRSC), affiliated to Tehran University, the first quake struck Soumar in Kermanshah province at about 2:37 p.m. at the depth of 10 kilometeres. The second quake measuring 4.6 on Richter scale shook the area within 10 minutes.
No casualties are reported so far.
