TEHRAN -- Ali Younesi, the presidential aide for ethnic and religious minorities, on Wednesday congratulated Zoroastrians in Iran and other parts of the world including those in the Indian subcontinent, Central Asia, and West Asia on the birth anniversary of Zoroaster.

The birth of Zoroaster is celebrated six days after Noruz, the Persian new year. Younesi said Zoroaster was the messenger of "monotheism, peace  and truthfulness." "I congratulate this auspicious day to all dear Iranian Zoroastrians and all other Zoroastrians in the world."
