Iran private sector to construct 200,000 housing units in Syria

TEHRAN- Iranian private sector will construct a 200,000-unit residential complex in Syria, the deputy head of Mass Construction Society of Iran announced in a ceremony on Sunday.

As Mehr news agency quoted Iraj Rahbar, “an agreement in this regard was signed between Iran and Syria during the recent visit of Iranian First Vice-President Ishaq Jahangiri and Transport Minister Mohammad Eslami.”

“Iran is Syria’s priority among other foreign applicant investors to rebuild the country and plans to make up to $2 billion of investments in that country,” he added.
